Another Brick Berliner Weisse | Wrecking Bar Brewing
ABV: 4.0%
IBU: 4
Style: Sour - Berliner Weisse
Actively Produced
Description: Referred to by Napoleon's army in 1809 as "the Champagne of the North", a specialty of the Berlin area, and often consumed today with himbeer or waldmeister syrup added. Nice wheat grain aroma with some tartness in the aroma and more on the flavor. The pH ended up around 3.2, making it pretty tart but still refreshing. True to style, this beer is only 3.3% ABV.
