Rye-ght or Wrong | Village Brewhouse
ABV: 5.6%
IBU: 65
Style: Rye Beer
Actively Produced
Description: A hybrid of a India Pale Ale. This IPA is not aggressively bitter, yet bitter enough to satisfy the “hopheads”. The malt flavor, with ample amounts of Rye, provides a strong base for the hops to lean on. First smell provides citrus, floral, almost resiny hop aroma. There is a nice white head with appropriate glass lacing. The addition of Rye adds a mild "spicyness" to the beer that works well with the hop profile. The orange, copper, color is achieved by using ample amounts of crystal malts during brewing. This beer uses large quantities of Chinook, and Mt. Hood hops. While in the fermenter Cascade hops are added to provide that strong hop aroma you first smell.
