Description: Scottish ales traditionally showcase malt in the beer. In that respect, we stayed true to style with our Scotch ale. As the base malt, we used a special type of brewer's malt commonly used in Scottish style ales. We then mixed in some caramel malt and roasted barley for sweetness and color. We also added cherry wood smoked malt to finish with a hint of smokiness.
