Fionnabhair Irish Wit | The White Hag Irish Brewing Company
ABV: 5.0%
IBU: 18
Style: Wheat Beer - Witbier / Blanche
Actively Produced
Description: Don’t be misled, this beer does not contain actual Irish Wit. It refers to the cloudy, fresh and easy to drink style of beer. It’s named after Fionnabhair, a controversial, feisty female character of Irish Mythology. Fionnabhair’s beauty was bittersweet, just like the beer in your hand. And like this ancient temptress, our Wit Beer is a bit spicy with great body! Description: Our take on a historic, Belgian style witbier. Brewed with 50% Wheat, Irish barley and oats, and traditional Belgian brewing spices. Tasting Notes: Very pale, almost white in appearance from the oats. Fruity, with noticeable spices of orange peel and fresh coriander. Crisp mouthfeel with a dry, refreshing finish. Ingredients: Water, barley, wheat, yeast, orange peel & coriander.
