Description: Foeder Fermented Table Beer brewed with floor malted German pilsner, raw wheat, and malted rye; hopped in the kettle with Zuper Saaz, First Gold, and NY-Grown Mt. Hood, then conditioned on grapefruit zest and juice. We fermented this beer warm in one of our american oak foeders with our house saison blend to almost complete dryness. The beer rested in oak for 4 months before being transferred to stainless. Then we broke out the Microplane to add some fresh hand zested grapefruit. This beer is bone dry and and the grapefruit adds a brightness that makes it beyond refreshing. We're tasting spoonfuls of morning grapefruit, sliced pear, fresh cracked pepper, subtle berry funk, and the nice crackers your parents only break out for company.
