Las Islas Pilipinas IPA | The Cebruery
ABV: 6.2%
IBU: 71
Style: IPA - American
Actively Produced
Description: Though its true origins lie in England--where brewers made their ales stronger and hoppier to withstand the long journey to thirsty troops in India--the bitterness and intense hop flavors of the IPA have made it the perfect foil for mass-produced lagers. Our Las Islas Pilipinas Ale - LIPA - is brewed in homage to and in continuation of this proud tradition of standing opposed to commercialized, mass-marketed, adjunct-laden cheap beer. It showcases only boasting a boatload of piney and herbal, earthy and citrusy, dank and tropical flavors afloat on a sea of pale, biscuity barley malt... because don't you deserve the finest? Best enjoyed with salmon with mango salsa, curry, Pepper Jack cheese, lemon tart.
