Description: We love working with our local farmers! Using generous amounts of Delvin Farm’s (College Grove, Tenn) sweet potatoes, roasted by our own chef, we have created a silky smooth stout. Melodies of coffee and dark choco- late transition into a chorus of toasty, roasty notes. WHY SWEET POTATOES? While the sweet potato is not a dominate flavor in the Country Roots stout it is still an important part of the beer. The cured and roasted sweet potatoes add a smooth and creamy mouthfeel to the body of the beer. We like that we can support Hank Delvin and Delvin Farms and naturally brew a balanced stout without using processed nonfermentable sugars like lactose.
