Description: Caldey Lollipop was at sea in all weathers during the 1950’s providing a ferry service between Tenby and Caldey Island. In a 1961 gale she was wrecked and lost on Tenby’s North Beach despite RNLI crew members and even Caldey’s late brother Thomas, waist deep in the tide, doing their best to save her. Taste… Hoppy session IPA, British Cara Gold malt provides caramel and toffee flavours which alongside the malty-sweet flavours of Maris Otter malt create a a delicious and moreish ale. New Zealand Waimea and American Mounthood hops create an amazing fruity and citrus taste, with subtle hints of pine whilst Polish Magnum gives a slight bitterness with a touch of floral aroma to really give this beer a nice finish.
