Description: Altbier is a throwback to the pre-lager days in Germany. A top fermenting yeast is employed at a cooler temperature to achieve a smooth, slightly fruity fermentation profile. Misfitter is a decidedly malty brew with just enough hops to add balance. Though technically an ale, we let this one lager for a bit to smooth out any rough edges and add to its drinkability. Prost!
