Description: Special Ales for ALS release. This beer is a blond, unfiltered, unfined, unfettered IPA. Brewed with Oats and Flaked Barley to keep it hazy this beer opens with a big Pacific Northwest hop aroma that leads to a light body and dry hoppy finish. The hops used are a special blend of two commercial hops, Loral™ and Citra®, and two experimental varieties, HBC 472 and HBC 568, from the Hop Breeding Company. It was brewed light in body to let the 4#/BBL of hops used shine through. A portion the beer sales benefit the ALS TDI organization (http://www.als.net/) dedicated to ALS therapy research. This is our second year participating in Ales For ALS.
