Woman Overboard Wit | Seven Brethren Brewery
ABV: 6.6%
IBU: 12
Style: Witbier
Actively Produced
Description: A family recipe dating back generations to when our ancestor rescued a Belgian woman who fled servitude on a pirate ship by jumping overboard at the first sight of land, which happened to be the Azorean island of Flores. This beer marks the union of those two and the creative brewing traditions they married together to create a deliciously refreshing ale. Zesty citrus and spicy coriander combine with a lightly sweet creamy wheat and soothing chamomile flower to finish tart, floral, and dry. A refreshing reminder of our brewing roots on the Azores Islands and a tribute to that brave Belgian who swam to freedom more than 200 years ago.
