Description: Monster of the Week is a collaboration sour tripel we brewed with our good friend Preston from Wren House Brewing. Preston and his lovely wife came to Santa Fe to enjoy a late pandemic long weekend in the City Different, and pitched the the idea of hosting them for a collaboration brew day with a focus on brewing something sour while they were here touristing. Marcus suggested we brew a sour tripel, and so we used Weyermann XP Pilsner malt and some Belgian beet sugar, along with a pitch of our house lactobacillus and some WLP530 Abbey yeast. We then finished the beer after souring with a dry-hop of Hallertauer Mittelfruh for a clean, noble type finish. Thanks for coming out Preston! Cheers!
