Kiwi Lime Easy Gose | People's Brewing Company
ABV: 4.4%
IBU: 10
Style: Sour - Fruited Gose
Actively Produced
Description: Contemporary-Style Gose. Our Gose was brewed with about 50% malted wheat and Bohemian Pilsner malt, and lactic bacteria using a kettle souring technique. Kettle souring is a days-long brewhouse process that allows brewers to achieve a tart, lemon-like character with lactic bacteria without the risk of contamination in the rest of the brewery. Gose originated in the town of Goslar, Germany by the 13th century and was hugely popular in the nearby Leipzig community. Due to the introduction and influence of Germany’s beer purity laws, beers with wheat have gone in and out of style since 1516. We added real kiwi and lime fruit purees post-fermentation.
