Description: This beer is a cooperative effort by members of the North Carolina Craft Brewers Guild to honor our state’s beer pioneer, Uli Bennewitz, who founded the Weeping Radish Brewery on the Outer Banks in 1986. Yours Truli was inspired by the first beer Bennewitz brewed, a Bavarian Hefeweizen, but with a local twist, including Triticale grain from Durham’s Epiphany Malt House. Triticale is a unique hybrid of wheat and rye and offers a spicy, yet soft, malt flavor to the traditional German-Inspired wheat ale.
