Description: After annexing some newly developed German hop varieties we decided to see how the old empire would fare in the modern world. Polaris, Mandarina Bavaria and Hallertau Blanc, all released in the last two years were used in an American style IPA. Lots of Bamberg malts were the foundation with loads of late addition German hops, used like their American cousins, giving us the feeling these superpowers work better together. Its fruity, its spicy, its intensely bitter. Just don't mention the war and all will be swell.
