Description: This complex Farmhouse Ale is a blend of two different beer styles. 58% of this beer comes from a mixed fermentation red sour that was aged for nearly 13 months in Cab Sauv Oak barrels from J. Lohr. The other 42% comes from a fresh Blonde Farmhouse Ale, brewed with French Saioson yeast and 168 lbs. of Apricot. The result is a complex sour character, with an earthy, barnyard like aroma combined with notes of Apricots, and a dry finish with a moderately strong red wine character.
