Description: Our submission to Portland Cheers to Belgian Beers is inspired by the "immortal" Abbath Occulta, a known dark beer aficionado. Our ale features distinct stone fruit aromas imparted by Imperial's Lioness Yeast, as well as classic Stout flavors of coffee, dark chocolate, and roasted nuts. Fifty percent of our mash consisted of British Rye Malt, adding a distinct and pleasant rye sweetness. Please raise a glass in direct, sweltering sunlight, to the headbangers who keep Portland metal. Special Ingredients: Imperial Lioness Yeast Malts: British Rye, Maris Otter, Torrified Wheat, Kiln Coffee, Chocolate, C-75, Roast Hops: Chinook, US Goldings OG: 1.056 TG: 1.014 ABV: 5.42 IBU: 22 SRM: 38
