Description: San Antonio is a beautiful city of art with gems of beauty scattered throughout. Künstler Brewing is lucky to be located right in the middle of the South Town Arts District. In tribute to all the wonderful art and artists of San Antonio, we wanted to brew a beer with art-worthy color. We also happened to have access to an abundance of blueberries. Did you know that blueberries grow in Texas as well? Oh and blue bonnets are blue, and in general, there’s just a lot of blue in Texas. Okay, you get it… We decided on an IPA with hops that would play well with blueberries. We tweaked the grain bill a bit, to allow the color of the blueberries to shine through. Then as usual at Künstler, we held our breath until almost blue, hoping it would all work out. Whoo! Lucky for us (and you) it did! Blaubier has unique blueberry aromas and a color that is, as anticipated…bluetiful.
