Honey Wheat | Iron Duke Brewing
ABV: 6.4%
IBU: 18
Style: Pilsner - German
Out of Production
Description: Honey Wheat, is our take on the German Kottbusser style. This style was forbidden in Germany for hundreds of years because of the German Purity Law which prohibits the use of ingredients such as honey or molasses. Lucky for us the recipe snuck out. This full bodied beer has the characteristics of a true German style ale, a crisp pilsner malt nose gives way to a dry, slightly bitter finish. Thanks go out to Hampden County BeeKeepers for the key ingredient in this beer.
