Description: We were lucky enough to hand-pick some Bulleit Rye Whiskey barrels that made for the perfect resting place for a robust barleywine inspired by the classic Manhattan cocktail. Additions of sweet cherry and orange peel accentuate the dark fruit character present in the malt, while Orris and angelica root lend dry, herbal vermouth aromas. Charred oak and tannins from the barrels smooth out the higher ABV beer resulting in a dry finish.
