Description: We took our Imperial Coffee Stout and aged it carefully for 13 months in two very separate barrels. One was a Paul Hobb’s Winery, Pinot Noir and one was Hamilton Distillery’s, Mesquite Smoked Whiskey Del Bac. We packaged the beer separately into bottles so you can try each one and notice the impact of each different barrel! The Mesquite Smoked Dorado Whiskey Barrel version is a very unique twist on our Imperial Coffee Stout. These are smaller 30 gallon barrels and when aged for the extensive 13 months, imparted a wonderful cherry note from the wood as well as a dark chocolate and coffee with just a soft hint of Mesquite and hint of smoke. The depths of flavor flow smoothly together to bring you this completely different version!
