Description: The first commercial batch of beer we ever made, batch #1 was released in June 2013 and this beer was brought back for batch #2 in 2023 on Grimm's 10th Anniversary. From the hip is a refreshingly complex Belgian-style strong blonde ale, brewed with organic rose hips. The aroma entices with light perfume-like floral elements, to be followed by balanced flavors redolent of citrus, spice, and honey. The grist is 1/3 malted wheat, lending plush mouthfeel. The rose hip is the fruit, not the flower, of the rose plant and brings notes similar to apple or pear.
