Description: First Brewed 1834 in Riegal Am Kaiserstuhl just north of Freiburg by the Meyer family in the Baden region. The Kaierstuhl area is the agricultural heart of central Germany. Brewery situated on the banks of the river Elz from which the soft waters of the river is used to brew the beer. Riegeler Pils is brewed in accordance to the purity law of 1516. The site is situated above a number of caves which the Brewery once used as a natural storage for the beer casks at a constant temperature of 12 degrees. Reigeler awarded the Gold medal at the highly regarded DLG awards, Germany.
