Description: Back in 2015 we brewed Gigantor, a barleywine whose caramel notes are solely the byproduct of an extended (7 hour) wort boil. Last fall we began aging this already delicious beer in a Cody Road Rye Whiskey barrel. The result is Ryegantor, redolent of rye whiskey pepper notes, resiny hops, and vanilla and crème brulee notes from the caramelized kettle sugars at play with wood sugars from the barrel.
