Description: When Free Range Rita said her Uncle Bob had some of his homemade maple syrup to share, the wheels started turning, because we go nuts for maple syrup! And when we say nuts, we mean pecans (pronounced: “pee-can”). Uncle Bob’s Sweet Nuts is a smooth and easy porter, a perfect fit or that anytime-beer on a cool day. Roasted pecans go in at end of boil to accentuate the roasty chocolate body with a hint of fresh-out-the oven nuttiness. Maple syrup is a sleeper in this one, added after fermentation to maintain just a touch of rich sappy-sweetness and of course that wonderful smell.
