Single Tank Series: Bonehead Red | Four Peaks Brewing Company
ABV: 6.0%
IBU: 25
Style: Red Ale - American Amber / Red
Actively Produced
Description: This ultimate display of planning and foresight comes from our Brewers’ dedication to slowing down, examining records, adhering to strict checks and balances and then, calmly, throwing it all out the window while dry-hopping the wrong beer. A bold yet, well, boneheaded move compounded, of course, by the founders' insistence on adding even more of the most expensive hops we have while in the grips of a global hop shortage. Pure genius. Technically, Bonehead Red is a dry-hopped Kilt Lifter (*%&#@!), but when one adds even more dry-hop, then it brings the beer’s profile into more of an American Red, or Amber Ale. It has 6% alcohol with a strong malt backbone supporting a pleasant and fresh hop aroma and flavor.
