Description: While there's no such thing as a Pale Scotch Ale, this is our interpretation of what might have been. Brewed with a base of traditional Scottish malt, a hint of peat smoke and UK bittering hops, the flavor starts somewhere between an English Pale Ale and a 60-schilling Scotch Ale. The contrasting finish takes a sharp left turn and has been heavily dry-hopped with citrusy American hops. While not a traditional Scotch Ale, what Scotty doesn't know won't hurt him.
