After tasting through barrel options, we chose this hefty base stout that had been aging in Elijah Craig bourbon barrels for 16 months. It was additionally recirculated for several days on loads of fresh chopped hazelnuts and Ugandan vanilla beans, then finished with a touch of hazelnut coffee.
