John Hix was more of a pale ale chap in his youth, but with his elevation and reluctantly embraced status as the evil professor, he has turned his back on the paler beers in favour of a rich dark beast of a brew more befitting his new role. Absolutely not brewed by Necromancy! No way, no siree! Tasting notes: An aged oatmeal stout making the beer rounded yet robust. A complex malt character gives this beer a multitude of flavours trickling down the throat and lingering in the mouth. A smooth sweetness is felt on the palate from the abundance of oats poured in, giving this beer its style.
