Description: Sea Trials #4: Pale Ale fermented 100% with Brettanomyces. Dry-hopped with Chinook and Citra hops. Sea Trial #4 is our first bottle-conditioned beer that has been fermented exclusively by Brettanomyces yeast. Fruity, earthy aromas of orange pulp, ripe pear and pineapple dominate the nose of this pale ale while giving way to notes of pine, green apple and barnyard. The taste is dry but velvety with perceived sweetness on the palate balanced by a mild bitterness. While we recommend drinking Sea Trials #4 fresh, this beer has the potential to become more carbonated and complex with age. Best served in a wine/tulip-style glass at 45˚F.
