Description: brewed with a hefty amount of base and heavily roasted malt to which the CB’s brewers added lactose sugar, vanilla beans and 5 lbs. of fresh Ethiopian roasted coffee from Java’s Café in Rochester, NY. Tasting Room manager Jason Ellsworth consulted extensively with the staff at Java’s to ensure the coffee used for this wonderful brew would balance the sweet flavor of the malt. “The beer starts off as a vanilla latte, then morphs into a coffee stout with a little extra sweetness at the end” states Ellsworth. “The beer weighs in at a hefty 8.5% adding a nice warmth.”
