Description: Boughs of Barley is for celebrating the season in all its glory. We brewed up a special Belgian-Style Dark Ale to lay down for ten months in freshly-emptied Cognac barrels which imparted a rich velvety texture, greatly enhancing the dark fruit character of the base beer. Boughs of Barley 2017 has a depth of flavors that can only come with extended aging in spirit barrels.
