Brothers In Farms | Brasserie de la Senne

ABV: 6.3%
Style: Farmhouse Ale - Grisette
Actively Produced
Description: This version was brewed at Brasserie de la Senne Brothers in Farms is an interpretation of the Double Grisette style, the strong version of a beer originally meant to be a thirst-quencher for the working class in 19th century Hainaut. We gave it a “transatlantic” character by wittily mixing European and New World hops. It’s blond and slightly hazy, with a creamy foam. Her nose is very floral and develops notes of citrus fruits with a predominance of lime. Wheat gives structure and a fresh taste, in harmony with fruity accents of pear and quince. Her attack is very mellow, but her finish is dry, with a persistent bitterness. In spite of its 6.3% abv, it’s an extremely refreshing beer. Brewed with Phil Markowski from Two Roads Brewing on May 10, 2017
