Description: Tropikos is the Greek term meaning "to turn". This series is revolving around new hop profiles. #001 is a Mosaic & Citra hopped IPA. The hops are from the Willamette Valley. This is an East meets West profile which is a little different for Basic City. We normally brew NE inspired with minimal bitterness. This beer is very contemporary: East Coast in its cloudiness and Tropical nose but it is old school, West Coast, with its assertive peppery/bitter finish. Drinks like a DIPA but 6%ABV.
