Description: The hops in this beer (predominately of the Cascade variety) are 100% estate grown and harvested by Anderson Valley Brewing Company. The herbal, hoppy aromas hide hints of pine and garden-fresh green vegetable. The flavor has a crisp, hop bitterness supported by a light, bready malt backbone with undertones of toasted bagel. Although the bitterness is fairly high (estimated in the 40 – 60 IBU range), the lean body and clean hop flavors giving this beer a high drinkability.
