Description: For our first-ever release of Here Be Monsters with Cacao, we wanted to select a barrel that showcased layers of chocolate on its own before conditioning it on one of our favorite cacao nib origins, Ghanaian, from Ethereal Craft Chocolate. To achieve this, we elevated the percentages of roasted malts—English chocolate, pale chocolate, and black malt. Tasting notes: Ghirardelli Brownie Batter, Lindt Truffles, and 87% Cacao Dark Chocolate.
