Description: Bottles and Kegs released December 2016. The original rule breaker. FDR 2017 Batch 1 is a chocolate forward beer brewed with 30 lbs of Panama coffee roasted locally in Norman, OK. Coffee extraction using a french press style method at the end of the boil. Aroma and mouth feel of coffee are pleasant but not overpowering. What to expect - Aroma: Dark chocolate, black coffee, and dark fruit. Flavor/Taste: Front of Tongue: Dark unsweetened chocolate. Mid Front: Dark Fruits (Raisin/Plums). Mid: Dark unsweetened chocolate. Mid Back: Cocoa. Back: Black coffee evaporation. Mouthfeel / Body: Medium velvet with carbonation present.
