Description: bourbon barrel aged imperial stout, the first to emerge from our (previously) super secret stout program. BIRKIN BEERS are one-off, small-batch and unannounced releases at this scale we are able to experiment with a wide range of ingredients, barrels, processes and blends. many of these experiments won’t ever see the light of day, but the ones we love will BIRKIN BEER 1 (bottled 12/2/19) triple mashed, 24 hour boil, brewed with brown sugar, dark maple syrup & milk sugar, aged in Journeyman bourbon barrels, before adding toasted coconut, caramelized coconut, toasted hazelnut, Madagascar & Papua New Guinea vanilla beans & cocoa nibs. please keep cool, drink fresh and expect some sediment. best served at 50°-55°F NOTE: this beer has already been aged, cellaring is not necessary, please enjoy with friends at your earliest convenience
