Description: In autumn 2018 we made a pear and quince cider from the fruit of our garden. After primary fermentation we added the cider to a barrel of beer, brewed six months earlier. We aged them together for six more months, and decided to bottle it without the addition of priming sugar. The residual sugar might cause a light fizziness over time, but it’s meant as a still wine/cider hybrid.
